Samana Vayu: Digesting the Madness of the Modern World

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Our ability to digest and assimilate over-stimulation, challenges and information from day to day, minute to minute, is integral to thriving in our fast-paced modern world. Samana Vayu is the action of our vital energy, or Prana, moving in the the center of our bodies and supporting our digestive and assimilation functions on the gross level of food AND the subtle levels of thoughts, ideas and experiences. Samana Vayu is epidemically weak in our culture because most of our energy and awareness is forced out, not in, due to the external nature of our lives. Join Sara Ward as we acknowledge this vital action in an all levels slow flow twisting class. We will cultivate focused awareness and intentional movements that strengthen our ability to not only digest and metabolize food but also to digest the madness of the world around us.
