Posture-based yoga can be an incredibly powerful tool in understanding and renegotiating our relationship with some of today’s most common conditions like stress and anxiety. Our body-mind feedback loop affords us the opportunity to use our bodies to change our minds and vice versa. Instead of the blunt force approach of just doing a hard, fast yoga class to feel better, we’ll explore how practicing in a way that truly cultivates inner awareness and experiencing the totality of the sensations we experience in asana can help us work skillfully and intentionally with stress and anxiety when they arise.
